  1. Based on the BETA programme feedback, 4 additional “quick win” features will be added to the released code. There won’t be a new BETA release nor a test period so we can speed to the live roll out of v2.0.5.
    The additional features are

    • Allow direct time value entry in Time Picker.
    • Default Accommodation Country to “United Kingdom” [ICE/NoK already does].
    • Spell check AM, PM and Night DailyLog and only check them and the DailyLog Memo when the text changes.
    • Add a Today button to Service Usage and Contact List reports which quickly sets the date range to today as a single day.
    1. To change the date range to just look at today i.e. Start Date = End Date = Today.
End Date = defaults to today on load
Start Date = set to today, click into Start Date, at the Bottom of Calendar, click Today button.

      What am I missing ?

  2. great stuff, few questions. when a Service User is deceased, where is this information showed? I killed off Craig Roberts, but there is no information showing to say how and when he passed away. the info could automatically go into the vital information?

few other thoughts, is there a possibility of spell check when writing logs. and the possibility to replacing ‘yesterday’ and ‘tomorrow’ with ‘back’ and ‘forward’ in the log report function.

    1. Look under Profile Notes, the top right hand button.

The logs aren’t spell checked but the Memos are. It’s probably a good idea in preparation for when the size of the logs are extended.
I can change the labels but not the function. +/- 1 day places too much load on the server.

      1. I would say this would be an appropriate use of server load. all staff have to check up on previous days logs when coming back to work after weekends/leave. having to click in and out and change the date is frustrating and a waste of time.

you used to be able to go through the logs by pressing the yesterday button, but since it has been changed you cannot.

        1. Yeah, I noticed the same issue and it makes it difficult to get a feel for where a new referral is at, having to type in dates manually to go through their history

  3. • ICE/NoK and Accommodation Digest subforms are always visible …
I like the MapIt function. It would be helpful if this was available in the ICE/NoK tab for all those listed, i.e. not just the primary contact.
Also I think this tab should be remamed – ‘Key Contacts’ would more accurately describe the info one can use it for (e.g. dentist, social worker, even doctor are not primarily needed for emergencies, but they are key contacts it is good to have records of)

  4. • Daily Log Changes
Would be helpful if daily log entries could be viewable in an SUs contact tab (some may wish to default to seeing all ‘contacts’ barring Daily log, but from the point of view of a non-residential service wishing to get a better picture of an SU in accom, it would be helpful to have the option of listing all ‘daily log’ entries, this would be particularly helpful when Haven Drop-In start entering daily log entries into SUD…

    1. If you Edit a Service User profile and untick the Active check box to mark that Service User as Inactive (i.e. deceased), the Input Form will automatically appear.

  5. • Added Sexual Orientation and Disability fields to User Profile.
Is it worth adding ‘other – please specify to disability’? Brain Injury or category it fits into would be worth adding to the list

    1. We could have Other as a possible selection (not recommended though) but not a “please specify” since there is nowhere to store that user input.

  6. • Added Primary Support type to Contact records.
Can see how this could be helpful, might be helpful to have option to indicate all secondary areas of support touched upon during the contact.
Would be helpful to have definitions of contact types – find it difficult to classify a conversation as ‘unofficial’ when it is being recorded in a database…

    1. Definition of Contact Types would come under a wider brief for a set of New Hope procedural guidelines which is probably overdue now that SUD is used across the business.

  7. • Added List all Contact to Switchboard Main tab options.
Great! This is a big step forwards. This could be made more helpful by including a direct link to actual contact notes for each instance listed
Could ‘Contacts’ be renamed as ‘SU notes’? It is helpful to record all work linked to a specific SU, but it doesn’t all revolve around having direct contact with the SU or even with a third party. E.g. If I looked up some relevant info for an indiv I may want to enter a summary of key points into their ‘notes’ so it can be referred to.

    1. Each Contact in the Contact List has an underlined SUID e.g. SU006655 in the left most column. If you double click this, that user’s profile will be displayed, with focus set to the Contact tab and the specific Contact (much like the Incident with Alert List). The related Notes will therefore be shown in the Contact Notes section underneath.
